Saturday 6th November
While on exercise lifeboat was tasked to a cliff bottom search along with Flamborough lifeboat to search for a man missing from Flamborough Head, Filey searched from Speeton to Flamborough nothing found both lifeboats returned to station.

Monday 25th October
17m Converted fishing boat "Corsair" with engine failure 3 miles East North East of Filey, 2 persons on board. Vessel towed to Scarborough.

Thursday 19th August
10 Metre Potter "Magic" with fouled propellor 2 miles East of Filey, 2 persons on board. Vessel located and towed 7 miles to Scarborough. Where a diver removed the obstruction from the propellor

Wednesday 18th August
While on exercise the ALB came across a Laser dinghy "Oop's with 1 person on board that had a broken mast. the man on board had rigged a temporary sail and was making for Filey after capsizing off Reighton, the lifeboat escorted the dinghy back to the beach at Filey were it was beached with the help of 2 crew and the sailor repaired the mast. Ron Pattenden is on a Round Britain trip and was making his way back to Eastbourne.

Sunday 8th August
ALB and ILB were on there way to the beach to launch to search for 2 persons lost on cliffs to the North of Filey when they were located by the local coastguards. Both boats were returned to station no launch required
Wednesday 21st July
10m Coble "Energy" 4 miles South East of Filey with a broken rudder. Located coble and towed back to beach at Filey. 2 persons on board

Saturday 8th May
While on passage to Scarborough, there were reports of a man in the water off the Sea Life Centre in the North Bay, recovered one man from the water, Scarborough Ilb guided the lifeboat back out into the open water, from between the rocks and the beach, one body landed at Scarborough.
