12-13 RNLB "Keep Fit Association"

6th September

Launched along with ILB to locate and escort back to beach 14 local small boats taking part in the local fishing festival, the weather had worsened since they launched, and one of the boats had phoned the boathouse to ask for escort home. The ALB was already at sea towing in one of the local fishing cobles, when the coble had landed safely on the beach the ALB returned to assist the ILB with the location and escort of the angling boats. All boats were located and escorted safely to the beach

Launch to tow in 9m fishing coble "Sharon Ann", 2 miles East of Filey with engine failure 2 persons on board. Vessel located and towed back to beach at Filey

11m Whelk potter "Golden Promise" 2 miles North East of Filey, with engine failure 3 persons onboard. Vessel located and towed 15 miles to Bridlington

10th August

9m Trawler "Challenge II" 3.5 miles South East of Filey with a fouled propeller, 1 person onboard. Vessel located and towed 9 miles into Scarborough harbour, were a diver cleared the propeller

8m Angling boat "Sheltie" 1.5 miles East of Filey with a broken propeller shaft, 4 persons onboard. Vessel towed 7 miles to Scarborough

6m Diving boat "Deep Harmony M" broken down 1.5 miles South East of Filey, 2 persons onboard. Vessel towed back to Beach at Filey.
