Monday 5th September

Person overboard from ferry 20 miles North East of Filey, as lifeboat prepared to launch, person located by ferry rescue boat and taken to hospital by helicopter, ALB stood down.

 

Saturday 13th August

Tasked to locate a missing speedboat, located speedboat off Flamborough Head and escorted back to Filey, on way back speedboat ran out of fuel, so 2 persons taken off boat and boat towed back to beach at Filey. Where ilb assisted them ashore.

Friday 12th August

While on passage from Great Yarmouth to Grimsby, tasked to locate a yacht “Sigme” in difficulty off Grimsby Docks. Located yacht and stood by till Cleethorpes ilb arrived and put 2 crew onboard to sort out their problem.

Tuesday 9th August

Tasked to assist Flamborough lifeboat to locate a person in the water at Thornwick Bay, person was located and taken to shore by Flamborough lifeboat.

Saturday 31st July

Called to escort ILB towing a 5m Angling boat “Our Dag” out of the tide race at the end of Filey Brigg

Sunday 10th July

Missing person, located ashore safe and well

Friday 15th April

Fishing Coble “Margaret” with engine problems 2 miles South east of Filey, towed to Filey
