Saturday 6th December

Called along with Scarborough lifeboat and Rescue Helicopter 128 to 16m trawler "Venus" taking in water 3 miles North of Filey,  Scarborough and the helicopter transferred 2 pumps to the casualty it was pumped dry then escorted by the lifeboats back to Scarborough harbour

Wednesday 12th November

While on exercise the coastguard requested the Alb investigate reports of red flares South East of Filey.  Area searched and flares spotted in sky but coming from different directions nowhere in particular.  They were traced by the coastguard to aircraft on exercise in the area, the Alb was released to continue on its exercise

Wednesday 1st October

Launch to assist Ilb, Coastguards and Police with 2 persons fallen over cliff at Blue Dolphin holiday Park 1 mile to the North of Filey. 1 injured person airlifted to hospital by helicopter 128.  Coastguards, Police and 1 body taken from Ilb and landed at Scarborough.

Wednesday 17th September

Launch to take over tow of coble "Energy" with engine problems, from Flamborough lifeboat 1.5 miles  East of Filey.  Coble towed back to beach at Filey.  2 persons on board.

Wednesday 27th August

Reports of inflatable with 2 persons on board in heavy surf off Reighton, Alb along with Ilb,  helicopter 128 and Filey Coastguards searched the area until dark, nothing found all units returned to station.

Saturday 16th August 

Launched to assist Ilb working in surf off Reighton Gap Ilb had recovered 2 persons from the water and landed them on the beach when it was found everybody was accounted for the Alb stood by whilst the Ilb made its way back off the beach and out to sea then both returned to station.

Stand by to assist Ilb, reports of 1 person in difficulty in the water at Reighton Gap in heavy surf, Ilb arrived on scene and person had been pulled out of the water by 3 members of the public which resulted in 1 being taken to hospital by helicopter, Alb and Ilb returned to station.

Friday 15th August

Launch along with Ilb to persons reported in difficulty being swept out to sea at Reighton Gap and to stand by Ilb which was working in heavy surf conditions, Ilb had recovered 2 persons from the water and landed them on the beach when the alb arrived on scene the Alb stood by while the Ilb made its way off to sea in the heavy surf it had nearly capsized whilst recovering the persons from the water,  when safely back at sea the Alb, Ilb and Rescue helicopter 128 searched for a person who had been reported in difficulty in the water, the person was located safe and well on the beach by the Filey Coastguards all units returned to station.

Friday 8th August

The Alb was asked to take out Royal Navy bomb disposal officers to assess a torpedo that was close to the rocks off Filey Brig,  it was found to be a torpedo without any explosives attached.  A rope was attached to it and it was towed into Filey Bay and landed on the beach to the South of Filey and was blown up the next morning in a controlled explosion.

Thursday 10th July

Alb and Ilb launched to a 11m Dutch yacht "Louca" aground on the beach at Reighton Gap 3 Miles South South East of Filey.  On arrival at the scene the Ilb took 2 persons and a dog off the yacht and transfered them to the Alb.  When the tide refloated the yacht 1 crewman and the skipper were put back onboard and the yacht was towed of the beach, after assessing there was no damage to the yacht the woman and the dog were returned to the yacht and they continued on their passage to Hartlepool

Sunday 25th May 

The Alb was paged to launch to search for a missing person at Blue Dolphin holiday park 1mile North of Filey as the crew assembled the coastguards located the missing person and the Alb crew were stood down

Thursday 8th May

10m Potter "Magic" with a fouled propellor, 7 miles South East of Filey 2 persons on board.  Vessel located and towed 14 Miles to Scarborough.

Tuesday 8th April  

Launched to 14m  Ketch "Wetton"  4 miles East of Filey with a fouled propellor, On passage from Hull to Amble,  4 persons onboard.  Vessel located and freed from ropes holding  it to the seabed and then towed 8 miles to Scarborough.

Thursday 27th March

8m Yacht "Ocean Spirit" on passage from Whitby to Brough, becalmed with engine problems .5 of a mile off Filey.  Vessel towed 9 miles to Scarborough for repairs.

Tuesday 4th March

10m Coble "Energy" 1 mile North of Filey with broken fuel line and control cable, 2 persons on board.  Vessel towed back to Filey.

Monday 10th February

12m Crabber "Galwad-Y-Mor of Lymington" with fouled propellor, 14 miles East of Filey with 6 Persons on board.  Vessel towed 15 miles to Bridlington

Sunday 2nd February 

6m Dive boat "Northern Star" with engine failure and taking in water, 2 miles East of Filey.  10 persons on board.  Vessel located 5 persons transferred to lifeboat and boat with 5 P.O.B towed to beach at Filey assisted onto beach by Filey ILB.

Monday 13th January

10m fishing coble "Neptune" with engine failure 2 miles ENE of Filey Bouy.  Vessel located and towed 8 miles to Scarborough.   2 persons onboard
