Service to "Araxian"

Coxswain Malcolm Johnson and crewman Neil Cammish are to receive awards for the service to the yacht "ARAXIAN" on the 2nd of June 2001. They will be presented to them at a function to be held in March.

Malcolm is to receive a framed Chairmans letter and Neil is to receive a framed letter of thanks from the Chief Executive, these are for the part they played in the rescue of a lone yachtsman adrift and suffering from fatigue in a force 8 gale on the 2nd of June 2001, on which Neil ended up being washed from the yachts deck into the sea from were he pulled himself back aboard and carried on with the job at hand.
