Launched along with the ALB to escort the coble "Kathryn and Sarah" who had been retrieving crab pots from close inshore to the North of Filey Brig, the coble was located and escorted into the shelter of Filey Bay, 2 persons on board

Search with Filey offshore lifeboat for missing woman from Primrose Valley, Filey Brig and Primrose Valley areas of Filey bay searched along with Filey and Scarborough coastguards, Rescue helicopter 128 and local police. The woman was finally located safe and well on the cliff above Filey Brig. All units returned to their stations

Search for missing 7 year old boy at Hunmanby Gap,2 miles south of Filey. Child located safe and well on beach by Filey coastguard.

Search for missing 5 year old girl at Primrose Valley, by both Filey lifeboats , child was found at Filey Coble Landing 1.5 miles from were first reported missing.

Report of two persons blowing out to sea on inflatable at Hunmanby Gap. When ILB arrived on scene the persons had been helped back to the beach by a jet skier. ILB returned to station.

Two persons being blown out to sea on rubber rings from Primrose Valley ILB located two girls on rings ,picked them up and landed them on the beach at Primrose Valley

Report of missing 12 year old boy at Primrose Valley. As ILB searched along the shoreline, the boy was located safe and well on the beach by the Filey coastguard. ILB returned to station

Two persons cut off by tide on Filey Brig. ILB arrived on scene and found a father and son had been on a fishing trip and were cut off by the tide, the father was in a distressed state and had left his medication at home, the crew administered oxygen and transported them both to safety and an awaiting ambulance at Filey Coble Landing

Reports of several people clinging onto an inflatable off Primrose Valley. ILB and Filey coastguard searched the area thoroughly and nothing was found. It was decided to be a hoax call and all concerned returned to station.

Reports from RAF helicopter of a group of people possibly cut off by the tide North of Filey Brig. ILB launched to investigate and found a group of 9 youths jumping from rocks into the sea, no assistance was required so the ILB returned to station.

Reports of 2 persons blowing out to sea on inflatable. Off Primrose Valley, ILB launched and located abandoned black inflatable whale, Filey coastguard located 2 persons on beach who had swam back ashore. ILB returned to station

Report of 2 persons on inflatable blowing out to sea off Reighton Gap. Extensive search of area carried out by ILB and Sea king helicopter 128, one inflatable shark and two inflatable dinghies recovered from area. All occupants had made it back safely to the beach. ILB and helicopter returned to stations

Report of 2 persons blowing out to sea on inflatable off Hunmanby Gap, ILB located an empty inflatable, occupants were located safe and well on beach, by Filey coastguard, ILB then investigated and recovered 3 more empty inflatables before being sent to 3 people thought to be in trouble in the water off Reighton Gap. ILB located 3 persons close to beach all made it back to beach from inflatables. All persons accounted for the ILB returned to station.

Child in inflatable blowing out to sea off Filey and 1 person swimming out after them. ILB launched, located them, picked up person from water and child from inflatable and landed them safely back on the beach.

Report of 6 persons cut off by tide on Filey Brig. ILB launched and searched area, nothing found. A false alarm with good intent

Report of 8 persons cut off by tide North of Filey Brig. ILB launched and proceeded to area, Helicopter 128 was exercising in the area, he also attended, arriving first he located the 8 persons and winched them onboard and landed them on the cliff top at Filey, ILB returned to station.

As ILB was re-housing after exercise Humber coastguard requested it launched to a dive boat "Scooby Doo" who had a diver onboard possibly suffering with the bends. The ILB launched and escorted the dive boat to the beach were one of the Alb crewman a paramedic by profession assessed the mans condition, Rescue helicopter 128 had been requested to also attend, Rescue helicopter 128 landed on the beach at Filey, picked up the man and flew him to Hull, to a decompression chamber were he spent the night recovering.

Inflatable off Primrose Valley with 1 person hanging on to it, ILB located 1 person and inflatable, picked up and landed them safely back on the beach.

Two persons trying to walk from Scarborough to Filey along the rocks at the bottom of the cliffs (it is impossible to do!) . Persons called coastguard for assistance. ILB launched and located persons, picked them up from the rocks and took them to Filey where they were landed on the beach at Filey coble landing.

Male walker reported stuck on cliff North of Filey. ILB launched and due to the weather asked that the Alb be put on standby. Helicopter 129 was returning from taking a casualty to Scarborough hospital also attended, they located the man and winched him to safety then landed him on the cliff top at Filey. The man had been trying to walk from Scarborough to Filey along the bottom of the cliff when he found it impossible, he began to climb up the cliff and had become stuck on a grass bank, he had been there 2 hours!

Reports of 12 people cut off by tide on Filey Brig, ILB launched and located 12 persons cut off 6 adults and 6 children. Helicopter 128 was exercising in the area and also attended. The ILB picked up 4 children and a pregnant woman and took them to the coble landing at Filey before returning to the scene and picking up 3 adults and 1 child and also taking them to the coble landing, helicopter 128 winched up the remaining 2 adults and 1 child and landed them on the cliff top at Filey

Man taken ill on angling boat "Eva Ann" from Scarborough. ILB launched and picked up man from boat and landed him on beach at Filey to awaiting ambulance.
