Wednesday 6th November
Called out with Filey Coastguard to locate and recover dog fallen over cliff, 1 mile North of Filey. Dog located and recovered safe and well from ledge on cliff and returned to beach to be reunited with owner at Coble Landing

Friday 4th October
Humber coastguard requested the Ilb
launch to assist in locating the source of a radio signal coming from a boat
somewhere North of Filey Brig that was locked on and blocking out distress
Channel 16. With the coastguards directing them the Ilb finally located
the boat .5 of a mile from Scarborough Lighthouse pier.
The Ilb went alongside asking the persons onboard to check their radio equipment
and a button stuck in was found to be causing the problem. The Ilb then returned
to station.

Sunday 29th September
Launch to assist Filey Coastguards with search for dog fallen over cliff North of Filey. Located and recovered body of the dog and returned to beach.

Thursday 5th September
3 persons in inflatable off Primrose Valley, when Ilb arrived on scene they were making their way back to shore, the Ilb escorted them back to the beach then returned to station

Thursday 29th August
3 children on inflatable 500 yards off Primrose Valley, Ilb picked up 3 persons from the inflatable, which was full of water and had no paddles. Due to their condition an ambulance was requested to attend. The 3 were taken back to the beach and transported to the ambulance by the Filey Coastguard. The Ilb was then requested to check out another inflatable to the South of their position, As the Ilb proceeded to it they paddled their way back to shore. Ilb returned to station

Saturday 24th August
4 persons cut off by water trying to walk from Cayton Bay to Filey along the rocks(it cannot be done) to the North of Filey. The 4 persons were landed on the beach at Filey.

Wednesday 21st August
Woman fallen on Filey Brig with a head injury, located woman and paramedic who was already with the casualty and evacuated both to Coble Landing to waiting ambulance

Thursday 15th August (x5)
4 children on inflatable 500m off into the sea from Primrose Valley. Located dinghy picked up and landed on beach.
1 child in dinghy off Primrose Valley (No Paddles) picked up dinghy and child and returned to beach.
Search with Coastguard for missing girl at Royal Parade Filey. Child located safe and well on beach.
On way back to Coble Landing picked up empty inflatable tyre, then a woman and child on a dinghy and inflatable animal (One Paddle) and landed them back on Beach
Later on in the day launched to inflatable 1 mile off Coble Landing at Filey, located empty inflatable after a search of the immediate area , and with nobody reported missing, Ilb returned to beach

Launch to locate missing girl last seen at waters edge, as Ilb launched the girl was located safe and well ashore.

2 persons in inflatable dinghy 1 mile from beach. Ilb picked up persons and dinghy located dinghy and landed back on beach at Filey

Tuesday 13th August
4m speedboat "Jack Flash" with engine problems 400 metres off the beach opposite the Coble Landing,1 person on board. Ilb towed the boat back to the beach at Filey

Saturday 10th August (x2)
Ilb called out once in the morning and again in the afternoon to assist the local coastguards in evacuating 9 people cut off in their houses due to flooding caused by torrential rain. The Ilb with 6 crew was towed up into the town by the Filey Coastguards, after evacuating the people, checks were made on those remaining making sure they were all ok and happy to stay in their homes till the water subsided enough for them to get out.

Wednesday 7th August
Ilb called to search for missing 5 year old child missing for over an hour in the Coble Landing area, as the crew were launching the child was located and the Ilb returned to station.

Saturday 3rd August
While at sea on Lifeboat Day, the Ilb and Alb were diverted to Reighton sands after reports of an inflatable that had turned over in the moderate to heavy swell, throwing the 3 occupants into the water, whilst proceeding to the scene the 3 persons had managed to make it safely back to the beach. Both boats returned to their exercises.

Sunday 28th July
Reports of inflatable .5 mile off Reighton Gap, located and recovered empty inflatable and searched area for persons in the water. No persons reported missing from beach, Ilb returned to station. As the Ilb was rehousing it was asked to investigate another inflatable, as it made it's way to launch the dinghy made it back to the beach so the Ilb stood down. Whilst rehousing again it was asked again to investigate yet another dinghy, it too made it's own way back to the beach. The Ilb was then rehoused.

Friday 19th July
Launched to 18ft angling boat, broken down close in behind Filey Brig with 4 persons onboard. Ilb towed boat back to beach at Filey

Person reported in difficulty on kite surfer. Ilb launched but was recalled after person made it back to beach unaided, false alarm with good intent.

Report to the coastguard from a member of the public of an upturned sailing dinghy .5 mile East of Filey. ILB launched and located the dinghy which was sailing back to the beach, both occupants were ok. They had capsized several times and decided to go ashore, the ILB escorted the dinghy back to the beach. A false alarm with good intent

Wednesday 15th May
A member of the public reported to the boathouse of an unattended wind surfer off the coble landing at Filey, they had not seen anybody with it for 30 minutes. The ILB launched and a man was located with the board resting in the water under the sail. He was ok, but him and the board were towed back to the beach at Filey

Saturday 6th April
Reports of a missing man at Blue Dolphin Holiday Park, Area searched along with ALB, RAF Helicopter 128 and Filey coastguard. Person was located safe and well ashore. (Helmsman Neil Cammish has recieved a framed Chief of Operations letter for his seamanship and handling of the ILB in the weather conditions on this service.)

Friday 29th March
Woman reported missing at Primrose Valley, last seen on the beach. As the Ilb and Filey coastguard searched the area. The woman was located safe and well ashore by the Police. Ilb returned to station.

Sunday 24th March
Reports of dog fallen over cliff at Blue Dolphin holiday camp, the ilb stood by until the Filey Coastguards located the dog and made there way down to the bottom of the cliff, were the ilb picked up the coastguards and the dog and transfered them back to Filey coble landing, the dog had fallen around 70ft onto a shale bank the dog was unhurt and was reunited with it's owner at Filey

Monday 4th March
Man reported to the boathouse his dog had fallen over cliff to the North of Filey. ILB launched and with Filey Coastguard searching on the cliff, the dog was located at the bottom of the cliff on the rocks. It had fallen around 80 feet into the water and somehow survived unhurt and swum to the nearest rocks. The dog was retrieved and returned to Filey to its owner, were it was taken to the vets for a check over
