Monday 27th October

2 Persons stranded at Brewster Hole 1 mile North of Filey,  persons located,  picked up and landed at Coble Landing

Thursday 2nd October

Launch to take 2 police scenes of crime officers to Blue Dolphin to recover items remaining on cliff from service to persons over cliff on the night before.

Wednesday 1st October

Launch to 2 persons fallen over cliff at Blue Dolphin holiday park 1 mile to the North of Filey, 1 injured person airlifted to hospital by Helicopter 128,  Ilb transfered Police, Coastguards and 1 body to Alb where they were taken and landed at Scarborough

Friday 19th September

Man trapped at bottom of cliff at Bempton picked up man and transferred him to Helicopter 128 where he was taken to hospital for a check up

Monday 15th September

Woman fallen on stones at Reighton Gap assisted Ambulance crew to evacuate her to awaiting ambulance at Coble Landing

Wednesday 27th August

Reports of inflatable in heavy surf off Reighton, Ilb searched with Alb and Helicopter 128 and Filey Coastguards searched the beach, nothing found all units returned to station

Friday 22nd August   x 2

2 adults and 2 children stranded on rocks to the North of Filey, picked up 4 persons and landed them at Filey Coble Landing

1 person in inflatable off Filey Brig, located dinghy and picked up 1 person and landed them at Filey coble landing

Tuesday 19th August

Reports of inflatable off Hunmanby Gap 1 person onboard blowing out to sea, Ilb located inflatable with 1 female occupant and returned her to Filey Coble Landing where she was taken to hospital for treatment for mild hypothermia,  Ilb also recovered a further 2 unattended inflatables

Sunday 17th August

Called out to check on yacht aground off Filey, crew on yacht were managing the situation,  Ilb returned to station no further action needed

Reports of 3 persons in difficulty in the water off Reighton Gap, Ilb launched and Alb followed as back up due to weather at Reighton, Ilb arrived to find 2 persons in the water 1 of them a  member of the local coastguard team assisting the casualty, Ilb entered the surf and picked up the two, and  landed  them on the beach where 1 person was taken to hospital by ambulance.  Ilb returned through the heavy swell escorted by the Alb and then returned to station.

Reports of child in difficulty in the water off Reighton Gap, Ilb launched and Alb put on standby due to the heavy surf at that end of the bay, When Ilb arrived the child had been recovered from the water by 3 persons one of which required a check up at hospital and was taken there by helicopter, Ilb returned to station

Friday 15th August

Reports of persons in difficulty being swept out to sea at Reighton Gap.  Ilb arrived on scene to find 2 persons in the water due to the heavy surf in the area the Alb had also launched to assist.  The Ilb recovered the 2 persons in the process nearly capsizing in the heavy surf, and landed them safely back on the beach, with reports of another person in the water the Alb stood by while the Ilb made its way back to sea through the heavy surf when clear of the breaking water a search was commenced along with Rescue helicopter 128 for the missing person, the person was located safe and well on the beach by the Filey Coastguard team all units returned to station.

Wednesday 13th August

Reports of inflatable blowing out to sea at Reighton Gap,  Ilb launched and as it arrived at Reighton it was found the dinghy and its occupants had made it back to the beach.  Ilb returned to station.

Sunday 10th August

5 persons cut off on Filey Brig, Ilb picked them up and landed them at Coble Landing

Friday 8th August

Launched along with Alb to a torpedo that was floating close inshore North of Filey Brig with two Royal Navy bomb disposal officers it was towed away from the rocks and the tow passed to the Alb then it was towed to Filey and landed on the beach where it was blown up in a controlled explosion the next morning

Reports of persons stuck on cliff at to the North of Filey, When Ilb arrived on scene the 2 people had managed to make their way down on to the beach the Ilb returned to station.

Report of inflatable possibly in trouble off Reighton Gap, Ilb located and escorted inflatable back to beach 2 persons on board

Wednesday 23rd July

Whilst on exercise the Ilb was asked to investigate an inflatable blowing out to sea .5 of a mile off Speeton cliffs.  Ilb located an empty inflatable and recovered it then searched the area for persons in the water whilst the coastguards searched the beach nothing was found and nobody had been reported missing.  the Ilb returned to station

Thursday 10th July

Along with Alb launched to 11m yacht "Louca" aground on the beach at Reighton Gap, 3 miles to the South South East of Filey,  On arrival at the yacht the Ilb took off 2 persons and a dog transfering them to the Alb, when the tide rose they transfered the skipper and 1 lifeboat crew to the yacht and the Alb towed the yacht off the beach.  After damage assessment to the yacht it went on its way on passage to Hartlepool.

Friday 27th June

A School party of 20 children and 5 adults cut off by the tide on Filey Brig, Ilb located party and waited the arrival of the Coastguard cliff team,  they escorted the party from the brig via the steps on the bay side of the brig

Wednesday 25th June

Reports of dog swimming out to sea 500 metres off beach between Filey and Hunmanby Gap,  Ilb launched whilst on its way to the scene the dog had paddled back to the beach, the ilb returned to station

Wednesday 18th June

5m Salmon boat "Alex" broken down 1mile East of Filey 1 person on board.  Boat located and towed back to beach at Filey

Sunday 15th June

Man with dislocated shoulder after falling on rocks North of Filey Brig at Brewster Hole. Ilb located man and dropped of 1 crewman to assess and give first aid, then ran further North to pick up Filey coastguards to assist,  due to the distance of the man from the waters edge and the discomfort he was in it was decided to evacuate him by helicopter.  The man was taken to Scarborough Hospital by Sea King 128.

Monday 26th May

3 persons cut off by tide on Filey Brig ilb picked them up and landed them at Filey coble landing, Whilst the Ilb was at sea a woman was reported to have collapsed on the beach, the rest of the crew who were there phoned for the ambulance and when they arrived they assisted the ambulance crew to carry the lady along the beach to the waiting ambulance.  After dropping off the cut off persons at coble landing the Ilb was then sent to investigate a 2m inflatable out in the bay with 6 persons onboard the boat was escorted back to the beach, on their way home the Ilb picked up an inflatable that was blowing out to sea unattended.

Tuesday 13th May

Reports of person in difficulty in inflatable dinghy off Primrose Valley, Ilb launched and proceeded, Rescue helicopter 128 was on exercise in the area and diverted to the incident.  The helicopter located the person and winched them up, the ilb picked up the inflatable tyre and met up with the helicopter and person on the beach at Primrose Valley,  then returned to station

Sunday 30th March

While on exercise the Ilb was requested to go to the assistance of a sailing club dory that had engine failure .5 of a mile off Filey.  The boat was towed back to the beach at Filey.

Thursday 20th March

Woman fallen on rocks and stranded at bottom of cliff at Chimney Hole 1 mile North of Filey.  Evacuated woman and 1 member of Filey coastguard team, back to Coble landing were they were met by an ambulance.

Saturday 15th March

Reports of 5 persons cut off by tide on Filey Brig, area searched nothing found persons reached safety without assistance.  False alarm with good intent.

Sunday 16th February

Reports of persons cut off by tide on Filey Brig,  area searched nothing found persons must have made there own way off safely.  Ilb returned to station

Launched to assist ALB with the beaching of dive boat "Northern Star".  ILB took over tow 300m from the beach.

Reports of unattended surfboard 300m from Royal Parade. Ilb searched area nobody located. Filey coastguard discovered from person ashore board had been thrown in by two youths.  ILB returned to station with board
