Wednesday 9th November

Report of broken down inflatable boat off Reighton with 1 person on board,  vessel located and checked out all was ok,  so Ilb returned to station.

Monday 24th October

Searched in Coble Landing area along with Alb for woman reported entering sea nothing found, both boats returned to station

Sunday 18th September

Man with broken leg on Filey Brig, Ilb transported casualty and Paramedic back to Ambulance at Coble Landing Filey

Saturday 20th August

3 children in inflatable 500yds off Coble Landing, Ilb picked up 3 persons and inflatable and returned them  to the beach

Thursday 18th August

Launched to Person fallen down cliff at Chimney Hole Blue Dolphin holiday park to the North of Filey, when the  ILB arrived on scene they discovered a 6 year old girl who had fallen over 150ft down the Cliff. They treated the girl till the paramedic arrived on scene from the cliff top  with the coastguard . The girl was then airlifted from the bottom of the cliff by SAR helicopter 128 and taken to Scarborough Hospital.

Tuesday 16th August

Reports of 2 children in inflatable dinghy 500 yds from beach at Royal Parade Filey, Ilb launched and when they arrived on scene the inflatable was being towed back to the beach by the lifeguards, Ilb stood by till they made the beach then returned to station.

Monday 15th August

Missing 5 year old child reported between Filey and Primrose Valley, as Ilb reached Primrose Valley to begin the search the child was located safe and well ashore by the Police.  Ilb returned to station

Saturday 13th August

Reports of a body in sea North of Filey Brig. Ilb recovered body from sea and returned to Filey.

Thursday 11th August

Search for missing person North of Filey Brig, area searched from Filey Bay to Knipe Point close inshore, along with Helicopter 128,Police Helicopter and local coastguard teams, nothing found returned to station.

Sunday 24th July

Reports of 2 persons cut off on Filey Brig, Ilb located 2 persons on the brig they were ok and needed no assistance, they searched the area and no other persons were in the area, the Ilb returned to station a false alarm with good intent .

Saturday 23rd July

Reports of a dinghy with 3 persons on board very close in at Bempton, Ilb launched and due to weather conditions in that area the Alb was launched as well to back up the Ilb. The Ilb located 2 persons in an inflatable canoe at Speeton  who had launched from Reighton Gap the Ilb crew informed them that the weather had deteriorated at Reighton so they agreed they would paddle on to the north and land at Filey, The Ilb left them as they were safe, to then search further south to Staple Newk for anything else in that area. After talking to the occupants of the canoe the Alb crew picked up the 2 persons and the canoe and agreed due to the weather and tide conditions to take them back to Filey.

Tuesday 19th July

2 persons stranded on rocks to the North of Filey, attracting the attention of a local fishing boat. They had been out walking and someone told them they could walk to Filey from Cayton Bay along the rocks at the cliff base.  This cannot be done as there is a place along the bottom that never dries out and is impassable to people walking. Ilb located the 2 persons, who had ended up spending the night at the base of the cliffs and transported them back to Filey coble landing.

Tuesday 12th July

Launched to salmon boat retrieving his nets at Primrose Valley inside the surfline, Ilb stoodby then returned to station.

Sunday 10th July

Person injured after falling  on Filey Brig, treated by paramedics at the scene then evacuated by lifeboat to ambulance at Coble Landing.

Thursday 7th July

2 persons stranded on a ledge at "Agony Point" on Filey Brig, one with an injured ankle.  One  person brought off by Filey Coastguards and the injured one evacuated to awaiting ambulance at Filey Coble Landing by lifeboat

Launched 20:40 Lifeboat returned to station 21:30

Sunday 3rd July

Reports of inflatable blowing out to sea with 3 persons on board off Primrose Valley.  Ilb located dinghy and escorted it back to shore.

Saturday 2nd July

Voice heard on VHF reporting boat in need of assistance and sinking in the Flamborough Head area, both Filey lifeboats, both Scarborough boats and Flamborough lifeboat  along with Sea King helicopter 128 searched the area from Scarborough to Flamborough head nothing was found believed to be a hoax

Launched 13:00 Lifeboat returned to station 15:00

Sunday 15th May

Injured person at foot of Green Rock ladder on Filey Brig,  Along with Filey Coastguard, evacuated person with ankle injury back to Coble Landing and into awaiting ambulance

Thursday 12th May

Called out to help coastguards and Police search for missing person, searched close inshore from Filey Brig to the Holbeck area off Scarborough. Nothing found, Ilb returned to station

Tuesday 3rd May

Search for missing angler at Reighton, Man located on a rock 30 yards from shore surrounded by water at King and Queen rocks, Speeton. Man picked up checked over then taken back to Reighton and handed over to Coastguards and Police

Monday 2nd May

Angling boat broken down to the North of Filey Brig, 3 persons on board. Boat located and towed back to Filey

Wednesday 23rd March

No 1-Man reported cut off on end of Filey Brig, as crew were assembling man reported he had got off on his own. No Launch

No 2 -Three persons cut off by tide on Filey Brig, picked up 3 persons and landed them at Coble Landing

Sunday 30th January

Dog fallen over cliff at Blue Dolphin Holiday Park, vet was lowered down with Filey Coastguard team, to assess the injuries to the dog, then it was recovered and taken to Filey by the ILB, where the dog was taken to the vets surgery.
